Simon is currently Chairman and Musical Director of the Ewhurst Players. Having studied piano from the age of five, he soon realised that playing by ear was much more fun than having to read music, although he does acknowledge that it’s a useful skill. Given his age, his playlists tend to centre around the 1980s, but he does have a soft spot for all things Disney.
