Film and television Production Course

Our Film and Television Production Course is led by BAFTA Award-winning director Richard Van’t Riet and highly-experienced videographer and cinematographer, Max Jewell-Smith. Richard has many years' experience directing shows such as Pointless, Tipping Point and A League of their Own, while Max’s varied career has seen him working as a freelance video creator/editor and as Audio Visual Services Manager at Cranleigh School. Together they’ll be offering you all the film production advice and support you need. This year we'll be creating a TV studio and making a range of content, including presentations, interviews and performances. At the end of each day, we'll be live streaming on YouTube with a mixture of live and recorded content you've created.
WHEN AND WHERE?
The Film and Television Production Course takes place in Cranleigh Arts Centre, around 20 minutes from Guildford. The venue has a professional theatre, a sprung dance floor for choreography sessions, dressing rooms, and lots of great areas for filming and multimedia activities. It's the perfect spot for our aspiring performers to learn in.
Monday 28th July - Thursday 31st July 2025
In2Drama is split into two groups for age related focus
11-15 year olds: 1pm - 4:00pm
16-21 year olds: 9am - 12:00pm
Friday 1st August 2025
The Friday morning module will include sessions in small groups on interview technique, how to find a suitable agent, and how to take your own perfect headshot!
All students: 9am - 12pm
Emma Hatton Singing and Audition Masterclass. Film Production students will be filming and running tech.
All students: 2.30pm - 5pm
