Meet Jack

Jack Howells-Davies

Singing Coach

Jack is currently studying a BA in Musical Theatre at the Conservatoire after completing his first year training at Guildford School of Acting. He has gained knowledge on all different styles, genres and eras of theatre. From his previous job at Stagecoach and projects at GSA and Hurtwood, he has a lot of experience arranging and teaching harmonies to an ensemble for musical theatre.

Having just undergone 2 years of auditions himself, Jack has vast and current experience in audition technique. His entire previous year was dedicated to perfecting auditions, so his advice for getting into drama school (including what to wear, how to present sheet music, how to conduct yourself in the room, repertoire suggestions and more) is something we are excited to have in the faculty.

He is currently undergoing vocal training in the Estill vocal method, the standard method for musical theatre, and is currently completing a year-long module in Vocal Health and Anatomy. He has experience in music technology, producing music for video, film scoring, composition and more, and has taught singing to groups and 1-1.

Jack has up-to-date training for anti-racism, equity, diversion and inclusion within the arts, as well as theatre-specific active bystander training.
